Is this ever going to come out? I'm soooo sick of waiting... I really doubt it's that hard to set it up. Why can't we just have it now! As much as we rely on technology you think SOMEONE could put it all together. I ditched my Blackberry due to poor HTML emails. The only versions didn't even support it! The browser was horrible and the web pages never looked the same. It did however have GMAIL PUSH! Now, I'm onto the iPhone. Excellent browser and a pretty good application that works well with Gmail... however, no PUSH!. Why can't just one company get it all right?????

We recognise this and that's why we've also been working on our own native version behind the scenes... I wont get into an argument over whether we or Mobispine were first, because in both cases a lot of work went on "behind closed doors" as it were.

Yes, for now it's UK only... but, like Mobispine, we invite carriers to discuss the option of providing a better MMS solution for their customers.

Mobispine, I wish you luck with your solution.. There is a place for us both in this diverse market and I'm sure that we have the same goal; to make MMS on the IPhone the user-friendly experience it should be.

Have you got your hands on the Mobispine's app? Did I hear you say no?

Did you fail to realize that the app you said is better is only for those in the UK? Did you realize that it's not an iPhone app but a webapp?

Just wait for Mobispine/the carriers to release theirs and then pass judgement.

Personally, I don't think Telia will release the app unless it provides at the very least the same basic functionality included in the other phone models they support. If I'm correct and other carriers follow this path (especially in the UK) then your beloved webapp is as good as dead.

if you're thinking of notifying the user that a new MMS has arrived; there are other ways to provide the MMS notifications - and at some point Apple should launch its push notification service as well
